Description
What a sight this was! In my feed room there are spiders, eww, but great photo opportunities! A female Southern Crevice spider attacked and took a young huntsman (or housekeeping) spider. She hooked into its abdomen and just swiftly backed into her "lair" with it, never to be seen again. Look closely at the housekeeping spider and you can see a drop of fluid by the front of it, I am assuming it's an injury from the loss of one of its legs (see the missing leg to the left?). That crevice spider really dug her hooks into the poor huntsman :(

Great shot but I can only look at it for a moment. Spiders give me the willies.

Than you, Al! I am O.K. with the creepy and crawly, until they creep and crawl on me, then I get all shivery. Ahhhhh!
