The larger, female Golden Silk orb weaver spiders. Commonly called "banana spiders", these huge web weavers are scary to many. They usually don't readily bite, only if held or squeezed/pinched, the venom is mild, much weaker than a sting from a bee. I would still do the heebie jeebie dance if I accidentally walked into a web!
