The Florida Scrub-Jay is a wonderful little bird if you happen to encounter them! This is a threatened species that we Floridians care deeply about. This should be our state bird, instead of the current Mockingbird, as this species is only found in Florida.

Thank you, Al. There was a light breeze. The end of the branch he was posed on was bouncing up and down. The bird seemed to be enjoying it's ride while checking us out. It was really fun for us.
